It's not just about card making and scrapbooking!
I had so much fun decorating this lamp I purchased from Ikea. It started out as a lamp with a plain white shade and a clear glass based. I covered the shade using Comfort Cafe fabric from Stampin' Up!'s Designer Fabric collection and some fabric adhesive. Then, after carefully and I mean carefully because it's not actually made to come off, I took the lamp top off the glass base. I cut strips of Gumball Green card stock and attached butterflies and flowers I created using a variety of different color card stocks that coordinate with the Comfort Cafe collection and inserted them into the glass base. The lamp sits in my papercrafting workspace so I get to enjoy it everyday!Stampin' Up! Products:
